Clearframe is independent — not affiliated with remove.bg or Canva. Use it for full-resolution PNG cutouts, batch ZIP downloads, and on-device processing when your browser supports it.
Images stay in the browser on capable devices. The UI always shows whether processing was local or on the server.
The alpha matte is upsampled onto your source pixels — up to 25 megapixels, with no forced 2048 downscale for export.
Process up to 20 images one after another, download a ZIP, or send a cutout into the watermark remover next.
This page restates remove.bg's own public FAQ and API notices. Last checked: 2026-09-28. Do not treat Clearframe as an official migration path.
From remove.bg's FAQ and API pages (checked 2026-09-28):
Canva's Background Remover is the official successor remove.bg recommends (account required; Canva Pro for unlimited use, per Canva's page). Leonardo.Ai API is the path for developers. A free no-account web tool such as Clearframe is a third option when you only need quick cutouts.
Practical steps if you mainly need cutouts without a Canva account:
No public API, no batch over 20 images, no Photoshop plugin, and no manual erase/restore brush. Canva remains the official product successor.
