Remove the Gemini watermark from an image

How do I remove the Gemini watermark from an image? To remove the Gemini watermark from an image you already made, upload it to Clearframe, brush over the sparkle and its soft edge, and download the rebuilt image. Turn off the watermark in Gemini first
Before you edit anything, check whether Gemini will stop adding the visible sparkle to new files. On a computer open gemini.google.com, go to Settings → Media Watermark (bottom-left), and turn it on or off. In the Gemini mobile app: menu → Settings → Media Watermark.
The toggle only applies to images, videos and music you generate after you change it, and only inside Gemini Apps (web and mobile)—not other Google products. In India, South Korea and Vietnam, only AI Ultra subscribers see the toggle; everyone else gets a visible watermark automatically. The switch controls the visible mark only; SynthID stays on every Gemini image.

If the file already has the corner mark, rebuild that corner with the brush:
- Upload the Gemini original when you can (prefer the download, not a screenshot).
- Brush over the sparkle plus a thin ring of antialiased edge pixels.
- Compare before and after, then download.
Two ways tools remove the Gemini mark – which fits your file?
Some browser-local tools use reverse alpha blending to restore the exact pixels under a standard-size, standard-position sparkle—but only on an unmodified Gemini original download.
Clearframe uses AI inpainting (LaMa) to rebuild the brushed area from surrounding texture. That fits screenshots, resized or cropped files, re-compressed exports, and marks that overlap other elements. The rebuilt pixels are a plausible guess, not the original pixels under the logo.
If you still have a clean Gemini original, turn the watermark off in settings for future exports. If you only have an edited or compressed copy, brush and rebuild.
Before you download – PNG transparency and image size
Transparent PNG areas become black after processing. Lay down a solid background in another editor first, or re-apply transparency after download.
Output width and height are padded to a multiple of 8, so the file may gain a few edge pixels. Crop back to the size you need if exact dimensions matter.
JPG, PNG and WEBP are accepted up to 10 MB, with the long edge kept up to 4096px.
